4-8 Multi-storey apartment block containing 67, one, two and three bedroom flats with associated parking, cycle and reuse/recycling stores and shared landscape areas.
The Civils Design comprised foul and surface water underground drainage and a final connection to a large existing combined sewer. The drainage strategy included the use of SUDs elements such as a green roof, attenuation storage crates, a complex flow control device and catchpit chambers.
This was a challenging development in London with very little space on site for drainage and very shallow combined sewers for connection. The site was further complicated as it was being developed adjacent to a trunk sewer which involved close co-ordination with Thames Water involving Ground Movement Analysis.
